Keiser Softball dropped a conference game to (RV) Southeastern this afternoon, falling 9-1 in six innings. The Seahawks will play SEU in a doubleheader tomorrow to decide the series.

Pitchers of Record: W: Playa (14-2), L; Beteta-Vilchez (12-5)

• Brunella Beteta Vilchez pitched the first 2.1 innings, and struck out two batters. (68 pitches)
• Alexa Michon pitched the final 3.1 innings, recording two strikeouts. (74 pitches)

• Tes DeBono hit a double, and went 2-2. 

• The Seahawks were unable to keep pace with an explosive Southeastern offense, and dropped their record to 33-13, 11-8 on the season. 

Keiser 0, SEU 3

• The Fire scored two runs with an RBI single, and a hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded. 

Keiser 0, SEU 4

• Two more runs were scored on a Keiser throwing error, and an RBI double.

Keiser 1, SEU 4

• Keiser was able to counter with an RBI single from Lizzy Small. 

Keiser 1, SEU 5

• The Fire added another run with an RBI double to left center. 

Keiser 1, SEU 6

• The Fire began to build a big lead with a solo home run to right centerfield. 

Keiser 1, SEU 7

• Keiser surrendered another run on an RBI single, but was able to end the inning when Macy Schaaf threw a runner out from centerfield. 

Keiser 1, SEU 9

• Southeastern walked a runner in with the bases loaded, and ended the game on an RBI single to right field. 

The Seahawks will play a doubleheader versus SEU tomorrow, starting at 12:00 p.m.
