Keiser Softball split a doubleheader this afternoon at Southeastern University. The Seahawks will end the regular season 34-14, 12-9 overall.

Keiser Seahawks 2, (RV) Southeastern Fire 5
Pitchers of Record: W: Zelenka (3-2) L: Small (17-7)

• Lizzy Small pitched the entire game, and picked up three strikeouts. (126 pitches)

• Molly Reid and Kelsey Ganci each logged an RBI. 

Keiser was cold from behind the plate, and mustered only one hit compared to Southeastern's 10. 

Keiser 0, SEU 1 

• The Fire took the lead with an RBI double.

Keiser 0, SEU 2

• Southeastern added another run on a single up the middle. 

Keiser 2, SEU 2

• Molly Reid was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to put Keiser's first run on the board.
• Kelsey Ganci tied the game with a sacrifice fly that brought home Lacee Travens.

Keiser 2, SEU 3

• SEU went retook the lead on an RBI double. 

Keiser 2, SEU 5

• The Fire got two more runs on the board with a two-run homer to left field.

Keiser Seahawks 7, (RV) Southeastern Fire 4
Pitchers of Record: W: Beteta-Vilchez (13-5), L: Hunter (8-5)

• Brunella Beteta Vilchez pitched the entire game. (career-high 127 pitches)

• Bridget Dunham, Lizzy Small, and Lacee Travens each hit a double. 
• Macy Schaaf went 2-3 and stole two bases. 
• Genesis Iglesias and Molly Reid stole one base each. 

The Seahawks withstood a barrage of SEU hits (15) and capitalized on two errors by the Fire to come away with the victory. 


Keiser 2, SEU 0 

• Bridget Dunham and Macy Schaaf got things started with base hits, and Lizzy Small brought them both home on a 2 RBI double.

Keiser 4, SEU 0

• Head coach John Pryor reached into his bag of tricks and dialed up the double steal, which worked to perfection as Macy Schaaf stole home. 
• Lacee Travens scored Genesis Iglesias with a double to right field. 

Keiser 4, SEU 2

• The Fire answered with an RBI, and an unearned run when a runner was thrown out at second base. 

Keiser 6, SEU 2

• Bridget Dunham reached on a fielder's choice, and Molly Reid scored on the play.
• Dunham later scored on a Southeastern fielding error. 

Keiser 6, SEU 4

• The Fire crept back into the game with an RBI single, and a Keiser throwing error. 

Keiser 7, SEU 4

• Keiser got an insurance run when Lanie Macicek scored on a Southeastern fielding error.

The Seahawks will take part in the Sun Conference Softball Tournament, starting May 3 in Clearwater, Fla.
