Keiser softball defeated Warner today in a doubleheader sweep. The Seahawks were on fire at the plate today and collected two wins to clinch the series in West Palm Beach. KU is now 33-12, 11-7 on the season. Before the game, seniors

- Lizzy Small pitched the first 6.1 innings and struck out two batters. (107 pitches)
- Brunella Beteta Vilchez pitched against the final two batters and collected a school-record fifth save this season. (4 pitches)

Keiser got an early 3-0 lead and held on late to secure the win.Â

- After Tes DeBono and Lacee Travens got on base, Molly Reid gave the Seahawks all the runs they would need with a 3 RBI homerun to left field that easily cleared the wall.Â

- The Royals got their first run of the day home on a wild pitch.
- Brunella Beteta Vilchez entered the game and closed the door on Warner with a four-pitch save.Â

The Seahawks turned in a dominant hitting performance and lit up the scoreboard for 10 unanswered runs, and a conference run-rule victory.Â

- Warner got on the scoreboard first with a pair of RBI singles.Â
Keiser 4, WU 2
- Despite the early deficit, the Seahawks were unfazed and went right to work at the plate.
- Genesis Iglesias brought home Bridget Dunham with an RBI single.Â
- With the bases loaded, Tes DeBono dropped an RBI single into left field that scored Macy Schaaf.Â
- Molly Reid hit a single through the left side to bring in Iglesias and give KU the lead.Â
- With the bases still loaded, Brunella Beteta Vilchez was plunked by a pitch to bring in DeBono. Â
Keiser 6, WU 2
- After a Warner error and hits from Schaaf and Lizzy Small, the bases were loaded yet again for Keiser.
- Tes DeBono was walked, and Schaaf scored.
- Lacee Travens brought home Small on an RBI groundout.

- With a big lead, Keiser set its sights on a run-rule victory.Â
- KU strategically positioned two runners on base with a single from Tes DeBono and a walk by Lacee Travens. Kelsey Ganci wrapped up the series with a 2 RBI single that scored Travens and pinch runner Tessa DiPietra, and Keiser earned its 33rd win of the season.Â

The Seahawks will travel to Lakeland, Fla., next weekend for a Sun Conference series versus (RV) Southeastern.Â
