Keiser Softball moved their record to 18-5 today with a loss to No. 10 Marian, and a run-rule no-hitter against Fisher College.

• Lizzy Small got the start, and struck out two batters. (62 pitches)
• Maggie Miller pitched two innings in relief. (28 pitches)
• Brunella Beteta Vilchez pitched the last inning. (15 pitches).

• Bridget Dunham went 2-3. 
• Tessa DiPietra stole a base. 

Keiser battled with the Knights but were unable to overcome an early 5-0 deficit. 


Keiser 0, MU 1

• The Knights got on the board first with an RBI single. 

Keiser 0, MU 3

• Marian added two more runs with two sacrifice flies.

Keiser 0, MU 4

• The Seahawks went down by four when Marian hit an RBI triple.

• The Knights got another runner home with an RBI groundout.

Keiser 1, MU 5

• With the bases loaded, Ashley Bullock hit into a double play that brought home Tessa DiPietra.

• Marian added two more runs with an RBI double and single.

Keiser Seahawks 16, Fisher College 0
Pitchers of Record: W: Miller (1-0), L: Willis (0-7)

• Maggie Miller pitched the first inning and picked up her first win of the season. (16 pitches)
• Alexa Michon pitched two innings, and struck out three batters. (20 pitches)
• Addison Fyles pitched the final two innings, striking out a trio of batters. (11 pitches)

• The Seahawks hit a season-high eight doubles.
• Lacee Travens and Caroline Austin hit triples. 
• Lana Hampson stole a base

The Seahawk's second game of the day was never in doubt, as KU took a 5-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back. This was Keiser's fifth no-hitter in school history.


Keiser 5, FC 0 

• Rylee Miller hit a single to left field, and Tessa DiPietra scored on a fielding error by the Falcon outfield.
• Lacee Travens hit a triple to bring home Miller. 
• Caroline Austin brought Travens home with an RBI single.
• Lana Hampson hit an RBI double to drive in Austin. 
• Camryn Kelly got her first RBI as a Seahawk with a single that scored Hampson. 

Keiser 7, FC 0

• Rylee Miller hit a sacrifice fly to bring in Macy Schaaf. 
• Lacee Travens hit a single up the middle to bring home Tessa DiPietra. 

Keiser 13, FC 0

• Camryn Kelly hit a 2 RBI single to left field to bring home Lana Hampson and Caroline Austin. 
• A muffed throw by the Falcons allowed Kelly and Macy Schaaf to score. 
• Rylee Miller hit a double to centerfield that scored Tessa DiPietra, and a Falcon error in the outfield allowed her to race all the way home. 

Keiser 16, FC 0

• Abby Arend hit a 2 RBI single to score Hampson and Austin.
• Kelly picked up another RBI with a double that scored Arend.

Tomorrow, the Seahawks face Siena Heights at 10:00 a.m., and Dakota Wesleyan at 12:15 p.m.
