Keiser Softball moved their record to 20-5 today with wins over Siena Heights and Dakota Wesleyan. The Seahawks are off to the best start in program history.

• Lizzy Small got the start and struck out three batters. (52 pitches)
• Maggie Miller pitched two innings in relief. (23 pitches)
• Alexa Michon pitched the last inning and got two strikeouts. (14 pitches).

• Tes DeBono hit two doubles.
• Alex Perez and Bridget Dunham stole one base each.

Keiser was in control of this one wire-to-wire and got a strong performance from the pitching staff to maintain a shutout.

• Tes DeBono got things going with an RBI double to score Genesis Iglesias.
• DeBono scored a run on a dropped third strike.

Keiser 5, SHU 0

• Molly Reid brought Genesis Iglesias home with an RBI groundout. 
• Lacee Travens hit a sacrifice fly to score DeBono.
• Bridget Dunham hit a single up the middle that drove in Alex Perez.

Keiser 6, SHU 0

• Lana Hampson scored the game's last run with an RBI single to bring home Iglesias.

• Lizzy Small got the start and her second win of the day. (70 pitches)
• Maggie Miller pitched the final three innings, collecting four strikeouts and her second save of the season. (27 pitches)

• Ashley Bullock, Genesis Iglesias, and Lizzy Small each hit a double.
• Tes DeBono and Macy Schaaf stole a base.

The Seahawks had an excellent hitting performance and batted around in the third and fourth innings.

• Macy Schaaf plated the first run of the game on a wild pitch.

• The Tigers took the lead with a 2-RBI single. 

Keiser 6, DWU 2

• Lizzy Small hit a 2-RBI double to help KU reclaim the lead.
• Genesis Iglesias scored Small and Macy Schaaf with a 2-RBI double.
• Iglesias later scored on a wild pitch. 

Keiser 11, DWU 2

• Tes DeBono laid down a bunt single to bring in Ashley Bullock. 
• Molly Reid hit a 2-RBI single up the middle to score Iglesias and Small. 
• Alex Perez was hit by a pitch to bring home Abby Arend. 
• Macy Schaaf walked with the bases loaded to score Lacee Travens. 

Keiser 11, DWU 4 

• The Tigers got a runner home on a fielding error.
• DWU plated their final run of the game on a groundout. 

Keiser 12, DWU 4 

• Rylee Miller got Keiser's last run of the Space Coast Games home with a single to shortstop that scored Ashley Bullock.

"I'm very impressed with the way the team played this week," said Head Coach John Pryor. "It's not easy to play 10 games in six days, but the girls showed a lot of heart, competed with some very good teams, and I saw a lot of improvement across the board."


The Seahawks will begin conference play next weekend with a home series versus Webber International, starting Friday at 3:00 p.m.
