It was another standout day at the dish and the rubber, as Danny Galvan led the Seahawks to a doubleheader sweep against Bryant & Stratton on Friday. The KU pitching staff registered 23 strikeouts in 14 innings of action.

  • Jhamante Woods hit a single to right center and drove home Ruiz and Lucero to put the Seahawks on the board first.
  • Logan Hullette hit a double to left center, advanced Woods to third, and drove home Hutchison for another Seahawk score.

  • Seth Lucero took advantage of a wild pitch and tacked on another run for the Seahawks.
  • Simon Grinberg hit a triple to center field and brought home Ruiz.
  • Palmer Hutchison blasted a home run to left field and drove in Grinberg, adding two more Seahawk runs.
