Keiser Softball improved to 17-4 today with wins against Roosevelt and Trinity Christian (Ill.). The Seahawks shutout the Lakers, and played a well-rounded game to take down the Trolls.

• Lizzy Small pitched her eighth career complete-game shutout. (87 pitches). 

• Genesis Iglesias hit two doubles.
• Tes DeBono hit an RBI double. 
• Lacee Travens got a double.
• Tessa DiPietra, Bridget Dunham, and Ashley Bullock all stole a base. 

Keiser hit the ball well and played excellent defense (two double plays) to shut out the Lakers.

• Roosevelt had an opportunity to score with the bases loaded, but the Seahawks turned an impressive 1-2-3 double play to deny the Lakers.

• Tes DeBono gave Keiser its first run of the day with an RBI single.

• Ashley Bullock picked up a pair of RBIs with a single to right field that scored Bridget Dunham and Lacee Travens.

• The Lakers had another opportunity to score with runners on base, but Molly Reid caught a flyball and launched a throw to Ashley Bullock for a double play.

• Tes DeBono hit a double that nearly cleared the left field wall to score Genesis Igleasias.
• Lacee Travens knocked a single up the middle to bring home Tessa DiePietra. 
• Abby Arend scored Travens with an RBI single.

• Brunella Beteta Vilchez got the start, and the win. (75 pitches)
• Maggie Miller pitched the final two innings and struck out two batters. (19 pitches)

• Bridget Dunham, Lizzy Small, and Tes DeBono all hit doubles.
• Macy Schaaf and Ashley Bullock hit triples. 

• The Seahawks were able to outlast the Trolls and get solid production from their bullpen. 

Keiser 0, TCC 2

• The Trolls struck first with an RBI triple and a double.

Keiser 3, TCC 2

• Macy Schaaf hit a triple to score Bridget Dunham. 
• Ashley Bullock followed with a triple of her own to bring home Schaaf. 
• Bullock was scored on a Lizzy Small double. 

Keiser 5, TCC 2

• Lizzy Small hit her second double of the game to score Bridget Dunham.
• Genesis Iglesias sent up a sacrifice fly to bring home Ashley Bullock.

• The Trolls cut the Keiser lead down to two with an RBI single.

• Trinity Christian had their final chance to tie the game, but Maggie Miller closed the door on the Trolls and picked up her first save of the season. 

Tomorrow, the Seahawks face No. 10 Marian at 12:15 p.m., and Fisher College at 2:30 p.m.
