No. 3 Keiser men's tennis wrapped up another strong day on the courts Saturday afternoon, taking down the No. 19 SCAD Savannah Bees in Savannah, Ga. 5-0. The Seahawks dominated doubles, winning on courts two and three. Keiser maintained their shutout with wins on five and one before courts four and six recorded simultaneous wins to finish the day.
- Andrej Krajcik made it 2-0 in favor of KU with a 7-5, 6-0 win on court five.
- No. 5 El Mesbahi followed on court one with a 6-1, 6-2 win over No. 15 Ozernoy.
- Within seconds of each other No. 12 Alam and Heber Santos wrapped up their matches to clinch the shutout for Keiser.
- The Seahawks were likely headed to the third set on the two remaining courts.
"It was a nice trip to Georgia," said Head Coach
Robert McAdoo. "Two days and two wins. The young men are playing with good energy; it's the mindset that must stay consistent. With high expectations and certain goals, there is a certain pressure involved. We are getting better at handling it. Playing with intent and purpose will keep us growing."
Keiser will take their longest trip of the season next week when they travel to play No. 5 Westcliff on Thursday, April 4. First serve from OC Great Park in Irvine, California, is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.
