When asked about today's result, Head Coach
Daniel Finn had this to say: "We had a pretty slow start today. I was not happy with our energy and focus across the board early on, and it isn't the way you want to come out on the road against a top-10 team. In the end, the girls got the points and did a good job of pulling their weight to make sure we got out of there comfortably."
On winning the crucial doubles point, "The doubles point is always big. But for a conference match on the road, it's even more important. I felt that most of the girls had settled in and figured out their individual matches, but yes, having that point is always important."
On next week's trip to California, "We're looking forward to another opportunity to compete against strong competition we don't often see in the regular season."
Keiser will head to California for a match against No. 15 Westcliff on Thursday, April 4. First serve from OC Great Park in Irvine, California, is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.
