Keiser Softball split a doubleheader versus Coastal Georgia this afternoon. The Seahawks dropped the first game 4-1 and won the second game with an identical score. Keiser has now set and will continue to add to a program record for wins in a season (28).

- Lizzy Small got the start and struck out two batters. (78 pitches)
- Alexa Michon pitched the final inning. (18 pitches)
- Molly Reid went 2-3.
- Alex Perez stole a base.

Keiser dug itself a hole with errors and a slow offensive start and were unable to get back into the game.

- Alex Perez cut into the Mariner lead with an RBI single following a triple from Molly Reid.
- However, the Seahawks were unable to tie the game.

- Beteta went 2-3 in addition to her pitching efforts.
- Lizzy Small went 2-3 with a pair of RBIs.

The Seahawks built a quick lead in the first inning and got an outstanding performance from
Brunella Beteta Vilchez and the Keiser defense to move to 23-87 all-time against ranked opponents.

- Lizzy Small got things going with a 2 RBI single through the left side, sending the Seahawk faithful at Alumni Field into a frenzy.
- Beteta-Vilchez gave herself some run support with an RBI single that brought home Small.

- The Mariners scored a run with an RBI single.
Keiser 4, CCGA 1
- In a key moment, Lacee Travens picked up an RBI with a sacrifice fly that scored pinch runner Addison Fyles.

- The Mariners had a chance to tie the game, but the Keiser defense retired the first three batters in order to tie the series 1-1.

The Seahawks will take on the Mariners tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. for the series finale in West Palm Beach, Fla.
