The Keiser baseball team dropped both games in the Sun Conference doubleheader versus the St. Thomas Bobcats on Friday.

  • The Seahawks move to 27-62-1 all-time versus the Bobcats.
  • The KU pitching staff registered 12 strikeouts in 16.0 innings of action.

Seahawk Hurlers
  • Starter Danny Galvan pitched his second complete game of the season.
  • Galvan allowed four runs on eight hits while striking out eight Bobcat batters.

Seahawk Batters
  • Keiser scored three runs on seven hits in the first game of Friday's doubleheader.
  • Seth Lucero led all Seahawks, going 2-for-4 with a run scored.
  • Keaton Kenworthy knocked in a run, batting 1-for-3 with a run scored.
  • Catcher Logan Hullette had a 1-for-2 game at the dish with an RBI.
  • Also driving in a run was left fielder Reese Collins (1-for-3).

  • Logan Hullette hit an RBI double to left field, bringing home Keaton Kenworthy from third, making it a 2-1 game.
  • Reese Collins tied the game with an RBI groundout to second, scoring Cam Verrier.

  • Kendry Noriega added a run for the Bobcats with an RBI single to right field.

  • A single by Cam Verrier and walks by Ryan Shiflet and Seth Lucero loaded the bases for the Seahawks with two outs.
  • Verrier scored on a wild pitch by STU hurler Angelo Allie, 3-1.
  • A second wild pitch by Allie scored Shiflet as Keiser pulled within one.
  • With the bases loaded again for the Seahawks, Jhamante Woods drew a walk to bring home the tying run.

  • The next batter, Edbarry Guzman, singled up the middle to score Jhamante Woods from third.

  • Lucas Lopez tallied an RBI single up the middle as the Bobcats made it a one-run game, 5-4.
  • Matt Granato added two more runs for the Bobcats with a two-RBI single, giving STU a 6-5 lead.
  • A sacrifice fly by Kendry Norie extended the lead to 7-5.

  • Pablo Ruiz hit a sacrifice fly to center field for the Seahawks' final run of the game.
