Keiser Softball swept a home doubleheader today versus Saint Ambrose University. The Seahawks won the first game 9-2, and the second game 3-0. With these wins, Keiser has eclipsed last season's win total (23).

• Lizzy Small got the start, and the win. (52 pitches)
• Alexa Michon pitched the final three innings, collecting her first career save. (52 pitches)

• Lizzy Small went 3-3.
• Tes DeBono went 2-4 with 2 RBI. 
• Rylee Miller stole a base. 

Keiser had a big first inning, and kept control of the entire game. 


Keiser 0, SAU 1

• The Fighting Bees got on the board first with an RBI single.

Keiser 6, SAU 1 

• Lizzy Small put Keiser in front with a 2 RBI single to bring home Macy Schaaf and Bridget Dunham. 
• Ashley Bullock scored on a wild pitch. 
• Tes DeBono singled to centerfield and scored Small.
• Alex Perez walked with the bases loaded, and Genesis Iglesias scored.  
• Bridget Dunham dropped a single into left field to score DeBono. 
• The Seahawks batted around in the first inning. 

Keiser 8, SAU 1 

• Lacee Travens brought Ashley Bullock home with a sacrfice fly, and an SAU throwing error allowed Addison Fyles to score. 

Keiser 8, SAU 2

• Saint Ambrose got a runner home on a wild pitch. 

Keiser 9, SAU 2

• DeBono logged her second RBI of the day with a single to centerfield to score Iglesias.

• Brunella Beteta Vilchez collected her third complete game shutout of the season. (57 pitches)

• Lizzy Small and Genesis Iglesias each hit a double. 
• Tessa DiPietra stole a base. 

The Seahawks navigated a slow start and played solid defense to keep home plate clean. 

Keiser 2, SAU 0 

• After three scoreless innings, Genesis Iglesias put Keiser on the scoreboard with an RBI double to bring home Lizzy Small. 
• Iglesias later scored on a SAU throwing error. 

Keiser 3, SAU 0

• Tes DeBono hit another single to centerfield to score Tessa DiPietra. 

The Seahawks will get back into Sun Conference Play this weekend for a series at Ave Maria. First pitch of game one is set for Friday at 3:00 PM.
