Keiser Softball got a conference series victory today with a doubleheader sweep of Webber International. The Seahawks are now 22-6 on the season.

Keiser capitalized on a huge third inning to get a run-rule victory.

- The Warriors threatened to score at the top of the inning, but Molly Reid caught a flyball in left field and launched it to Kelsey Ganci at home plate to complete an impressive double play.
- In the bottom half of the inning, Reid laid down a bunt single to score Bullock, and Iglesias scored on a Webber throwing error.
- Beteta-Vilchez hit a sacrifice fly to allow Travens to score.
- Reid later scored on a throwing error by WIU.

- Lizzy Small pitched the entire game, collecting two strikeouts and yielding just one run. (83 pitches)

The Seahawks stood tall in the rubber match of the series and put nine hits on the board to pull away from WIU.

- Tes DeBono picked up her third RBI of the game with a bunt single to help Iglesias score her fourth run of the day.

- Webber loaded the bases in the final inning, but the Keiser defense kept their nerve and allowed no runs to give Keiser its first conference series win of the season.

The Seahawks will host Saint Ambrose University this Wednesday for a doubleheader. First pitch of game one is set for 1:00 p.m.
