- Tabitha Howe finished the shutout on court five, picking up her first win for KU 6-0, 6-3.
When asked about today's result, Head CoachÂ
Daniel Finn had this to say: "Outside of a slow start in the beginning, I thought we did a great job controlling the match and brought great energy. It's never easy to play someone a second time with such a short time in between. They know what to expect and are prepared to get under your skin. A few of the girls have been under the weather too, so we had to play a player down, and I'm happy to see how the others stepped up when they needed to. All in all, I was happy with the performance today. Not a lot of time to rest so we will get back and get ready for Wednesday."
Keiser will play their first Sun Conference opponent on Wednesday, facing No. 6 St. Thomas on February 28 at Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton, Fla. First serve is set to follow the immediate conclusion of the men's match.
