Keiser Softball took down the New College of Florida this afternoon in a road doubleheader. The Seahawks won the first game 8-0 via run-rule, and the second game 6-3 thanks to a big third inning.

Keiser was dominant early on and held the lead throughout all of the game.

- The Mighty Banyans had a chance to extend the game, but a runner was left stranded and Keiser got the mercy rule.

- Lizzy Small went the distance, striking out two batters through seven innings.
- The Seahawks utilized big hits to put runs on the board, and rally from an early 2-0 deficit.

- The Mighty Banyans struck first with an RBI single, and got another run in on a wild pitch.

- The Seahawks tied the game with an RBI single from Lizzy Small.
Keiser 6, NCF 2
- Keiser broke the game open when Tes DeBono launched her first home run of the season.
- Molly Reid followed with a double, and was then scored by an RBI single from Travens.
- Lanie Macicek got her first RBI as a Seahawk with a single that got Travens home.
- Macicek was then brought home with an RBI double from Ashley Bullock.
Keiser 6, NCF 3
- The Mighty Banyans got a runner home with an RBI single, but were unable to tie the game and Keiser got the doubleheader sweep.

The Seahawks will host a doubleheader this Saturday versus Florida National. First pitch is set for 12:00 p.m. at Alumni Field.
