Keiser Softball Handles FNU In Doubleheader Sweep

Keiser Softball improved to 10-3 on the season today with a doubleheader sweep of Florida National. The Seahawks shut out the Conquistadors in the first game, and Ashley Bullock hit a walk-off single to clinch game two.

  • Macy Schaaf hit a lead off single. 
  • Ashley Bullock followed with a single to center field. 
  • Genesis Iglesias brought Schaaf home with an RBI single to center field.
  • Tes DeBono smacked a single past the FNU shortstop that scored pinch runner Tessa DiPietra and tied the game.

  • Alex Perez got things started with a critical lead-off double. 
  • Bridget Dunham walked, and a wild pitch on ball four allowed Perez to advance to third.
  • After Macy Schaaf was walked, Ashley Bullock ended the game with a walk-off RBI single to left field.

The Seahawks will be in Viera, Fla. this Wednesday for the Space Coast Classic Spring Games. The Seahawks will face Goshen University at 12:15 p.m. and Huntington University at 2:30 p.m.
