Men's Basketball Looks to Extend Winning Streak at Home on Wednesday Versus Coastal Georgia

Winners of their last two, Keiser men's basketball returns home looking to make it three in a row on Wednesday, facing the College of Coastal Georgia Mariners. Tipoff from the Student Life Center in West Palm Beach, Fla. is set for 7:30 p.m.

  • The Seahawks improved to 6-4 in Sun Conference play, just one game behind first place.
  • Tyler Poindexter got the Seahawks going early in the game against the Gyrenes, scoring 15 first-half points on five threes.
  • Calvin Sirans picked it up in the second half with 16 of his own, leading all scorers by the end of the game with 21 points.
  • Sirmans has upped his assist numbers as of late, totaling more than 10 in four of the last five games.
  • Vincent Miszkiewicz had nine rebounds in each half of the game, securing his 22nd double-double of the season late in the second half.
  • Miszkiewicz was named Sun Conference Player of the Week for his efforts on Monday, his fourth recognition by the conference.
