Kenny Di Clemente made Seahawk history, driving 10 runs as the Keiser baseball team completed a four-game sweep of Columbia Int'l with a 19-1 (7inn.) win on Saturday afternoon. Di Clemente tied the school record for home runs with three as he led the Seahawks to their largest run production since posting 23 versus Michigan-Dearborn last season (23 - 2/25/23).

The Seahawks are off to their best start since 2021 with a 10-1 record through 11 games (11-0 in 2021).  Keiser produced 19 runs on 15 hits while drawing 11 walks on Saturday. The Seahawk pitching staff held the Rams to just five hits with six strikeouts.

  • With Saturday's win, Keiser moves to 10-1 on the year. 
  • Its the best start through 11 games since the 2021 season (11-0).
  • The Seahawks improve to 10-2 all-time versus the Rams.
  • Keiser has now won five straight over the Rams.

  • Starter Frankie Cresta earned his first win as a Seahawk.
  • The right-hander tossed 3.0 innings of scoreless baseball, allowing just two hits and striking out three.
  • Jake Molloy came out of the bullpen, giving up one run on two hits in 2.0 innings pitched.
  • Also seeing action were Logan Butler and Tanner Goswick.

Seahawk Batters
  • It was Kenny Di Clemente Day at Silvester Jr Field as the Keiser right-fielder set the school record for RBI (10).
  • Di Clemente also tied the school record for home runs in a game with three on Saturday. 
  • Pablo Ruiz went 1-for-2 in the game with two RBI and two runs scored.
  • Jhamante Woods had a 2-for-4 day at the dish with an RBI and two runs scored.
  • Keiser hit four home runs in the game (Di Clemente 3, Ruiz 1, Woods 1).

  • A "no-doubter" over the fence left-center put the Seahawks up, 2-0.
  • The homer was the fourth of the season for Ruiz.
  • Keiser hit another two-run bomb, this time by Kenny Di Clemente to right-center.
  • The home run was the first of the season for Di Clemente.

  • With the bases loaded and one out, Di Clemente hit his second home run of the day, this time a grand slam to left-center.

  • A sac fly by Palmer Hutchison pushed Keiser's lead to 9-1.

  • Di Clemente registered his third home run of the game with a two-run shot to left as Keiser extended its lead to 13-1.

  • A single by Logan Hullete scored Di Clemente from third to make it 14-1.
  • Seth Lucero drove in another run for the Seahawks with a ground out to first (15-1).
  • The third run of the inning came on an RBI-single by Mike Chaves Jr to right.
  •  Pitch hitter Andrew Almendare singled through the left side of the infield, bringing home Cam Verrier.
  • Di Clemente added two more RBI (10 for the day) with a single to right.

  • Reliever Tanner Goswick came in out of the bullpen and recorded a 1-2-3 inning for the Keiser victory.
