- No. 3 Freed-Hardeman will be the second, ranked opponent this season for Keiser who will look to move to 1-1 in those matchups
- The last time the Seahawks were ranked and played a non-conference ranked opponent on the road, No. 6 KU defeated No. 11 Union 83-74 in 2016
- Freed-Hardeman holds a 14-1 overall record this season and has won 10 straight going into Tuesday's game
