The Associated Press (AP) announced its 2024 AP NAIA All-America Teams this week as selected by by a panel of sports information directors and the AP.
Three Seahawks were recognized by the AP for their play during the 2024 season as junior
Jude Guerrier was named to the first team, and senior
Bam Brima and junior
Justin Carcel were honored as second-teamers.
AP First-Team All-Americans
Jude Guerrier, Third Year, OL, Boca Raton, Fla.
- Named a First-Team AP All-American for the first time in his career.
- Becomes the second Seahawks to earn SUN Offensive Lineman of the Year recognition (Scarlee Jean in 2023)
- Earned first-team all-conference honors on the offensive line for the first time in his career
- Started in all 12 games at left tackle for the Seahawks
- Offensively, Keiser has recorded 2674 yards (No. 3 all-time at Keiser) on the ground with 33 rushing touchdowns (No. 3 all-time at Keiser)
- The Seahawk's passing game has tallied 3,044 yards (school record) with 30 passing touchdowns (school record)
- The 5,718 yards of total offense the Seahawks have produced this season is a school record
- Keiser set the school record for total yards with 607 versus Pikeville (Ky.) (11/30)
- Keiser's offense is averaging 40.3 points per game (No. 14 in the NAIA)

AP Second-Team All-Americans
Bam Brima, Fourth Year, DL, Worcester, Mass..
- Named to the AP All-America second team for the first time in his career.
- Named to the All-Sun Conference first team for the first time in his career
- Appeared in all 12 games for the Seahawks this season, making 10 starts
- Recorded 54 total tackles (25 solo) with 8.0 tackles for loss
- Posted 3.0 sacks with two forced fumbles
- Tallied four pass breakups and one fumble recovery
- Named the Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week (9/23)
- Anchoring a defense that is allowing 20.4 points per contest (No. 22 in the NAIA)
- Led KU's defense which held Fort Lauderdale to just 125 yards of total offense (third lowest in Keiser history)
- In the run game, Brima and the Seahawks defense held three opponents under 100 yards rushing (Fort Lauderdale - 50, St. Thomas - 63, Ave Maria - 46)
- Had a career-high nine total tackles versus Fort Lauderdale (9/21)
- Recorded a tackle for loss in six games this season
Justin Carcel, Third Year, DB Port St. Lucie, Fla.
- Earned Second-Team AP All-America honors for the first time in his career.
- Earned First-Team all-conference honors for the second straight season
- Started in 11 games for the Seahawks
- Posted 45 total tackles (24 solo)
- Notched a career-best four interceptions this season
- Ninth in the conference in passes defended (pass break ups and interceptions), 0.82 per game - No. 2 in interceptions
- Posted one forced fumble
- Part of a defense that is allowing 20.4 points per contest (No. 22 in the NAIA)
- Led KU's defense which held Fort Lauderdale to just 125 yards of total offense (third lowest in Keiser history)
- Hard three-or-more tackles in nine games this season
- Notched a career-high nine tackles at Southeastern (10/19)
The Seahawks will travel to Durham, North Carolina, for the NAIA National Championship Game on Saturday, December 21. Keiser will face the No. 2-ranked Grand View Vikings. Kickoff is set for noon.
