The Keiser women's basketball team suffered their third consecutive loss this afternoon at home in the West Palm Beach Invitational, bringing their season record to 7-5. Despite the defeat, senior Elise Ellison achieved a significant milestone, becoming the program's all-time leader in double-doubles with the 27th of her career, surpassing Midori Long.

The Seahawks will return to the Student Life Center in the new year after the winter break. Keiser is set to face the New College of Florida Mighty Banyans on Saturday, January 4, with tip-off scheduled for 2:00 PM.

First Quarter
Olivet Nazarene 17, Keiser 16
  • Two free throws by Caidyn Cannon put the Seahawks on the board first
  • With 7:15 on the clock, the Tigers hit two three-pointers to take a 6-4 lead
  • Keiser went on a six-point run, highlighted by a jumper from Jasmyn Hale, to regain the lead
  • Olivet Nazarene pulled ahead with a layup at 0:44
Second Quarter
Olivet Nazarene 46, Keiser 32
  • The Tigers opened the scoring with five points, including a three-pointer by Kalli Papenfuss
  • Avrie Schmidt scored a layup at 8:10 to get Keiser on the board
  • Olivet Nazarene extended their lead to 10 with a six-point run
  • Two free throws by Cannon closed out the scoring for the Seahawks, who entered halftime trailing by 14
Third Quarter

  • Two three-pointers by the Tigers extended ONU's lead with 7:18 remaining
  • Seven straight points from the Seahawks brought them closer, cutting the deficit to 10
  • Additional three-pointers by the Tigers kept Olivet Nazarene in control
Fourth Quarter
Keiser 80, Olivet Nazarene 88
  • A jumper by Amalia Vamvakitis opened the fourth quarter for the Seahawks
  • At 7:57, the Tigers hit a three-pointer to extend their lead to 15
  • Keiser responded with an eight-point run, cutting the deficit to seven
  • The comeback fell short as Jade Simpson made a layup with three seconds remaining
