The Keiser women's basketball team opened the Thanksgiving Classic with a dominant performance, defeating the Thomas Night Hawks in a decisive 72-40 victory. Leading the charge for the Seahawks was Jasmyn Hale, who recorded 15 points while shooting an impressive 85.7% from the field and going a perfect three-for-three from beyond the arc.
Senior Elise Ellison also made a significant impact, securing the 24th double-double of her career with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
The Seahawks will return to action tomorrow afternoon, facing William Carey in their second game of the Thanksgiving Classic. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:15 p.m., following the match up between Thomas and Warner.
Jasmyn Hale hit back-to-back threes to bring the Seahawks ahead of the Night Hawks in the first with 2:25 left.
