Keiser men's basketball kicked off Thanksgiving week with a dominant win over the University of the Virgin Islands Buccaneers at home on Monday, 86-62. Four members of the Seahawks reached double figures in scoring with
Vincent Miszkiewicz leading the way at 16 points and a team-best 15 rebounds.
Calvin Sirmans was just behind him with his own double-double of 15 points and 10 assists. The Seahawks are now 6-1 when Miszkiewicz and Sirmans record a double-double in the same game.

Calvin Sirmans picked the pocket of Amayoa'ah Phillips and went to the line where he made both of his free throws. The Seahawks used the momentum to go on a 12-0 run from there and take a 20-point lead into the half.

- The two sides traded baskets early before a three-pointer from Tyreon Payne put the Seahawks in front 7-4 with 16:57 left in the first
- A dunk from Vincent Miszkiewicz put Keiser ahead by five before a three from Jackson Slater forced the Buccaneers to call timeout

- The Buccaneers got off to a quick start in the second, scoring nine of the first 12 points of the half and forcing an early timeout from KU
- Out of the timeout, Sirmans scored five straight to kick off a 15-2 run that was capped by back-to-back Chris Roth treys to make it 67-40 with just under 12 minutes to play
- UVI began to crawl back slowly, scoring five straight to cut the lead back down to 71-49
- Following a pair of free throws from Payne, the Buccaneers rattled off five more to bring the lead within 20 with just over five minutes left
- The lead would be too much to overcome as Keiser ended the game on a 13-8 run and closed out their fifth win of the season
