The 2024 All-Sun Conference Football Teams were announced on Wednesday as voted on by the league's eight head coaches. This year's teams feature 27 first-team selections, and 27 second-team honorees.
Keiser recorded 16 all-conference honors, including 10 on the first team and six on the second team.
The Sun Conference Position Awards (Back of the Year, Receiver of the Year, Offensive Lineman of the Year, Defensive Lineman of the Year, Linebacker of the Year, and Defensive Back of the Year) were also announced on Wednesday.
SUN Conference Awards for Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Special Teams Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Coach of the Year, Assistant Coach of the Year, and Champion of Character will be announced on Thursday afternoon.
First-Team All-Conference
Defensive Line
Bam Brima, Fourth Year, Worcester, Mass.
- Named to the first team for the first time in his career
- Appeared in all nine games for the Seahawks this season, making seven starts
- Recorded 43 total tackles (19 solo) with 6.0 tackles for loss
- Posted 2.0 sacks with two forced fumbles
- Named the Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week (9/23)
Running Back
Andrew Burnette, Third Year, Jensen Beach, Fla.
- Earned first all-conference honor of his career with a first-team selection
- Appeared all nine games for the Seahawks, starting in four
- Rushed for 1,007 on 151 carries (6.7 ypc) with 14 rushing touchdowns
- Had six 100-yard rushing games, including a career-high 172 yards at Thomas (Ga.)
- Ranks No. 12 in the NAIA in rushing yards per game (111.9)
Defensive Back
Justin Carcel, Third Year, Port St. Lucie, Fla.
- Earned first-team all-conference honors for the second straight season
- Started all nine games for the Seahawks
- Posted 40 total tackles (20 solo)
- Notched a career-best three interceptions this season
- 12th in the conference in passes defended (pass break ups and interceptions), 0.67 per game - tied for No. 2 in interceptions
Offensive Line
Roderick Carter, Fourth Year , West Palm Beach, Fla.
- Named to the first team on the offensive line for the second time in his career
- Appeared in all nine games at right guard for the Seahawks, starting in eight
- Is part of an offensive line that has helped Keiser record 2,023 on the ground with 25 rushing touchdowns (fifth-most all-time)
- The Seahawk's passing game has tallied 2,106 yards (No. 3 all-time) with 19 passing touchdowns (No. 3 all-time)
- Keiser's offense is averaging 38.9 points per game (No. 9 in the NAIA)
Tight End
D'Andre Golden, Third Year, Norcross, Ga.
- Garnered first-team all-conference recognition for the second time in his career
- Started in seven games for the Seahawks
- Caught 13 passes for 149 yards
- Third on the team in receiving touchdowns (3)
- Had a season-high four catches for 54 yards and a touchdown in Keiser's win a Newberry College (42-33)
Offensive Line
Jude Guerrier, Third Year, Boca Raton, Fla.
- Earned first team honors on the offensive line for the first time in his career
- Started in all nine games at left tackle for the Seahawks
- Is part of an offensive line that has helped Keiser record 2,023 on the ground with 25 rushing touchdowns (fifth-most all-time)
- The Seahawk's passing game has tallied 2,106 yards (No. 3 all-time) with 19 passing touchdowns (No. 3 all-time)
- Keiser's offense is averaging 38.9 points per game (No. 9 in the NAIA)

- Garnered first-team accolades for the first time in his career

- Posted 5.0 tackles for loss with one fumble recovery
- Recorded the team's second blocked field goal attempt versus Florida Memorial (36-yard attempt)
Offensive Line
Blake Perry, Third Year, Morehead, Ky.
- Earned first team honors at offensive line for the first time of his career
- Started all nine games for the Seahawks at center
- Is part of an offensive line that has helped Keiser record 2,023 on the ground with 25 rushing touchdowns (fifth-most all-time)
- The Seahawk's passing game has tallied 2,106 yards (No. 3 all-time) with 19 passing touchdowns (No. 3 all-time)
- Keiser's offense is averaging 38.9 points per game (No. 9 in the NAIA)
Wide Receiver / Return Specialist 
Refeno Vangates, Second Year, Hialeah, Fla.
- Named a first-team selection as a wide receiver and a return specialist for the first time is his career
- Appeared in all nine games for the Seahawks, making seven starts
- Recorded 28 catches for 509 yards and six touchdowns (No. 4 in the SUN in yards per game - 56.6)
- Set the school record for receiving yards in a game with 142 yards at St. Thomas (10/5)
- Posted 17 kick returns for 506 yards and one touchdown, averaging 29.8 yards per return (No. 2 in the SUN)
- Named the SUN Offensive POW (10/7) and SUN Special Teams POW (11/5)
Second-Team All-Conference
Place Kicker
Nico Cavanillas, Second Year, Redmond, Ore.
- Named a second-team all-conference selection for the first time
- Appeared in eight games for the Seahawks
- Finished the regular season ranked No. 3 in the conference in points per game (8.5)
- Has converted 10-of-12 field goal attempts (83.3 percent) and is 38-of-39 on extra-point attempts
- Named the Sun Conference Special Teams Player of the Week two times this season
Defensive Back
CJ Gilmore, Second Year, Orlando, Fla.
- Named to SUN All-Conference Second Team for the first time in his career
- Appeared in all nine games for the Seahawks, starting in six
- Has also been a key part on special teams
- Posted 13 total tackles (seven solo)
- Had four pass breakups with one fumble recovery
Linebacker
Hunter Hargrave, Third Year, Bethalto, Ill.
- Selected to the SUN All-Conference Second Team for the first time in his career
- Started in all nine games for the Seahawks
- Leads the team in total tackles (58) with 20 solo
- Has 1.5 tackles for loss with two fumble recoveries
- Ranks No. 4 in the the conference in tackles per game (6.4)
Defensive Back
Kensly Johnson, Fourth Year, Jacksonville, Fla.
- Named an all-conference selection for the second straight year
- Appeared in all nine games for the Seahawks, starting in eight
- Recorded 37 total tackles (21 solo)
- Has also tallied 2.0 tackles for loss as well as a forced fumble
- Leads the Seahawks in pass breakups with seven
Defensive Line
Byron May, First Year, Morehead, Ky.
- Named to the Sun Conference Second Team for the first time.
- Appeared in all nine games for the Seahawks, making six starts
- Recorded 23 total tackles (12 solo) with 9.0 tackles for loss and 3.5 sack
- Had one forced fumble and one fumble recovery along with a blocked field goal attempt at Newberry (39-yard attempt)
- Named SUN Special Teams Player of the Week (9/16)
Quarterback
Shea Spencer, Third Year, Vero Beach, Fla.
- Garnered Second-Team All-Sun Conference honors for the first time
- Started in all nine games for the Seahawks
- Completed 70.71 percent of his passes (140-of-198) for 1,931 yards and 19 touchdowns
- Leads the conference in completion percentage
- His 1,931 passing yards amd 10 TDs are the third most in a season at Keiser
The Seahawks will host the Second Round of the NAIA Football Championship Series on Saturday, November 30. Kickoff is slated for 1:00 PM.
