How it Happened

  • The Seahawks were aggressive coming out of the gate in the second half, with two shots on goal in the opening two minutes of the half
  • In the 57th minute, Gabi Villafane electrified the Keiser sideline when a pass from Justin Bangura allowed Villfane to score his third goal of the year
  • With the momentum firmly on their side, the Seahawks remained aggressive and peppered the FMU goal with six shots in the following 14 minutes
  • FMU was only able to muster one shot in that time period
  • In the 78th minute, Santiago Duque scored his second goal in as many games with a spectacular play off a deflection to tie the match
  • The goal was Duque's third of the season, and his second against FMU
  • The Seahawks kept up their pressure, outshooting Florida Memorial 3-1 in the final 12 minutes of the match
  • Keiser nearly stole the victory in the 86th minute, but a shot from Manu Cordeviola hit the crossbar
