The No. 1-ranked Keiser football team (6-0, 3-0 SUN) used 512 of total offense to roll past the Thomas Night Hawks (1-5, 1-2 SUN), 52-17, on Saturday night.
 
The Seahawks produced the third-most yards passing in program history while rushing for another 196.
 
Andrew Burnette rushed for a career-high 172 yards on 17 carries with three rushing touchdowns. Burnette recorded a 76-yard touchdown run – the third longest run from scrimmage in school history. Shea Spencer tallied 296 yards on 16-of-22 passing with three touchdowns. It was Spencer's eighth game of 200 yards-or-more passing in his career. Maurico Porcha notched a career-best 116 yards on four catches – two for scores.
 
Defensively, the Seahawks recorded 9.0 tackles for loss, including 3.0 sacks (Brooks Gsell, Kymani Edwin, and Quadar Cargill). Tommie Battle IV led all Seahawks with six total tackles followed by Tristan Vann with five.
 
The win extended the nation's longest winning streak to 17 games as Keiser moved to 16-0 all-time in Sun Conference action and 36-3 in conference play (SUN & MSC).
 
 

First Quarter

  • The Seahawks took a 7-0 lead following a seven-yard touchdown run by Andrew Burnette with 7:47 left in the first
  • The score was the first of three fot the native of Jensen Beach, Florida
  • Thomas (Ga) countered with a 32-yard field goal by Braxton Crawford with 3:42 on the game clock
  • On the ensuing drive, Burnette "took it ot the house" on the very first play, scoring on a 76-yard rush - the third longest run in Keiser history
  • Following the made extra point by Nico Cavanillas, Keiser led 14-3 with 3:24 remaining in the quarter

Second Quarter

  • Shea Spencer connected with Jaden Miller for a 33-yard score as Keiser extended its lead, 21-3, with 10:21 on the game clock
  • Cavanillas added three more points to the Seahawks score with a 23-yard field goal (00:09)
  • Keiser produced 290 yards of total offense during the first 30 minutes of play, including 127 yards on the ground

Third Quarter
Keiser 45, Thomas (Ga.) 17
  • Keiser extended its lead, 31-3, following a 24-yard pass from Spencer to Maurico Porcha (10:05)
  • The Night Hawks made it a 31-10 game as Cam Sanders completed an 81-yard pass to Jaheim James with 8:16 on the game clock
  • Porcha caught his second touchdown pass of the quarter as he and Spencer connected for 69 yards
  • The touchdown put Keiser up 38-18 with 6:26 remaining in the third
  • Burnette found the endzone for the third time in the game with a 32-yard touchdown run as the Seahawks pushed their lead to 45-10 (4:24)
  • Thomas (Ga.) responded with a 54-yard touchdown run by Sanders as the Night Hawks cut the Seahawks lead to 45-17 (2:27)

  • Miller scored the final touchdown of the game with an 11-yard run (14:43)
  • Keiser closed out the game, posting 512 yards of total offense (season high)
  • The Seahawks produced 316 yards through the air (third-most is school history)
