The No. 1-ranked Keiser women's golf team posted a fifth-place finish at the Saint Leo Invitational on Tuesday. The Seahawks shot a 13-over, 877, in the 11-team field. Comprised of 10 NCAA Division II teams (eight ranked in the Division II Mizuno WGCA Coaches' Poll - Oct. 4) and Keiser, the Saint Leo Invitational took place at the Lake Jovita Golf Course and Country Club (North Course) (Par 72, 6,090 yards).
The Seahawks were three strokes back from fourth-place Wingate (NCAA DII - No. 7) and four strokes from third-place Lynn (NCAA DII - No. 12).
Senior Carolin Alblas recorded her second top-5 finish of the season and 10th of her career, finishing tied for fifth with a 3-under, 213 (70-70-73). Also finishing tied for fifth was sophomore Mohea Mansbendel (70-72-71, 213). It marked her first top-5 finish of the 2024-25 season.
