Keiser men's tennis finished up day two at the ITA Cup in Rome, Georgia with
Shaheed Alam moving into the tournament semifinal in singles.
Alam's lone match of the day pitted him against David Leon of Tennessee Wesleyan. Leon took the first set 6-3, but Alam countered with a 6-0 second set win. In set three, the junior from Singapore pulled out the win with a 6-3 set to take the match. Alam will now advance to play Santiago Villarruel of Georgia Gwinnett in the semifinal. In the backdraw,
Didrik Liljekvist picked up a 7-5, 6-2 win over Luke Geduldt of Union. Liljekvist will now play Daniel Garcia of Middle Georgia State tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.
