20The (rv) Keiser Seahawks volleyball team returns to home court this Wednesday to face the Lions of Florida Memorial, with the first serve scheduled for 7:00 PM. On Saturday, the Seahawks will travel to Sarasota, Fla., to take on the Mighty Banyans of New College of Florida, with game time set for 2:00 PM.
The Seahawks are riding high after a successful week, having swept the Gyrenes of Ave Maria and the Tigers of Edward Waters in straight sets. They also defeated the Falcons of Florida College in a four-set match. Junior outside hitter Mackenzie Pryor continues to shine; she was named both the SUN Attacker of the Week and the NAIA Attacker of the Week for her outstanding performance, which included 52 kills and two double-doubles—marking her 13th of the season. On the defensive side, junior libero Faith Marquis earned the title of SUN Defender of the Week, tallying 53 digs over three matches and adding to her team-leading total of 42 service aces.
