The Keiser women's basketball team will host the Ave Maria Gyrenes in the team's annual We Back Pat Game on Saturday, January 13. Tipoff from the Student Life Center is set for 2:00 PM.
Keiser's We Back Pat Game is in its eighth season and benefits the Pat Summitt Foundation. Its mission is to advance research for treatment and a cure, provide care and support for patients and caregivers, and educate the public about Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
The Seahawks are looking to rebound from a 76-63 loss at Southeastern on Wednesday. Keiser finished the night shooting 34.8 percent from the field (23-of-66) and made 3-of-17 from 3-point range. The Fire cooled off in the fourth but finished shooting 43.1 percent on the night, including 12-of-34 from downtown.
