No. 11 women's soccer dropped their home match with No. 25 St. Thomas on Saturday at home in West Palm Beach, Fla. The Seahawks outshot their opponents for the seventh straight game but were unable to string a goal for the fourth time this year.

How it Happened
  • Keiser had the first chance of the game 20 seconds in as Viki Adam forced a save out of Isabella Penaranda.
  • In the 13th minute, Megan Velazquez took a chance from outside the box, but a diving save from Zara Board kept the game at 0-0.
  • Coming out of the hydration break in the 26th minute, a misplay in the Keiser defense allowed a free chance for Gabrielle Cimino who buried the opportunity for the Bobcats.
  • St. Thomas held the 1-0 lead into the half as the shots were even, 7-7.
  • The Seahawks were quickly on to the attack in the second half as Hana Masuko ripped a shot from outside the box with the keeper barely getting a touch to it.
  • In the 61st minute, Bryanna Alzate found Alexandra Santiago before getting a return pass and finding the back of the net to make it 2-0.
  • Four minutes later, a failed clearance fell to the feet of Megan Velazquez whose shot went just under the diving arms of the keeper and made it 3-0 in favor of STU.
  • The best remaining chance for the Seahawks came in the 72nd minute when Emily Payne's shot ricocheted off the crossbar.
  • St. Thomas would wisely do everything they could to drain the remaining time on the clock and take the 3-0 win.
