The No. 9-ranked Keiser men's soccer team (1-2-1) fell to the No. 5 ranked Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson, 3-1 in their final game of the weekend. The only goal of the game for the Seahawks came off the foot of a Lindsey Wilson defender for an own goal.
 
With the loss, the Seahawks move to 1-2-1. 


.How it Happened
  • The Seahawks and Blue Raiders began the game on a competitive note with both teams having fouls called in under three minutes.
  • Lindsey Wilson recorded six shots by the five minute mark.
  • In the 14th minute, the Blue Raiders netted their first goal of the day off a header.
  • Keiser had just three shots in the first half leading to a heavy offensive presence from Lindsey Wilson.
  • In the second half of play, the two squads stayed competitive but the Blue Raiders held the upper hand as the ball remained mostly towards the Seahawks net.
  • A foul on Keiser in the 63rd minute led to a penalty kick for Lindsey Wilson marking the second penalty kick Santiago Nebot as faced in the last two days leading to a 2-0 lead for the Blue Raiders.
  • The Seahawks would fall to a 3-0 deficit in the 68th minute when the Blue Raiders would score for a third time.
