The Keiser volleyball team won their second straight conference road match with a 3-1 (23-25, 27-25, 25-23, 25-15) victory at Florida Memorial on Wednesday night.
With the win, the Seahawks improved to 19-6 (3-1 SUN) on the year while FMU falls to 3-3 (1-3 SUN).
The win marked the Seahawks 35th all-time victory over Florida Memorial as KU improved to 15-3 all-time versus the Lions in Miami Gardens.

SET 1 (25-23 FMU)
- Both teams traded points to make it 4-4.
- The Lions scored four straight to take an 8-4 lead - capped off by a service ace by FMU's Jasmine Maldonado.
- FMU pushed its lead to five, 12-7, following a kill by Caroline Souza.
- Trailing 13-8, the Seahawks rattled off five straight points to tie the game at 13-all following a kill by Sophia Trout.
- FMU took a 24-22 lead, serving for set point when Brooklynn Slater made it 24-23 with the kill.
- The Lions claimed the first set as a kill by Bethania Barreto recorded the 25th point.
SET 2 (27-25 KU)
- With the score tied 3-3, the Seahawks scored back-to-back points to take a 5-3 after a kill by Slater.
- Keiser made it 10-6 following a ball-handling error by FMU's Agustina Busque.
- The Seahawks maintained its four-point lead, 14-10, after another kill by Slater.
- Sydney Wattles made it a 17-13 game with a kill down the middle.
- Slater gave Keiser its 20th point of the set with a cross-court kill, 20-17.
- The Lions posted five consecutive points to take a 24-21 lead, serving for set point.
- Wattles kept the set alive with a kill, 24-22.
- Again, Wattles scored off an assist by Hannah Heide to cut the FMU lead to 24-23.
- Out of an FMU timeout, Keiser tied the set 24-24, following a kill by Slater.
- Looking to take a 2-0 lead over the Seahawks, FMU held a 25-24 lead until an attack error by Barreto knotted the score up, 25-25.
- The Seahawks scored two straight points to take the set following a service ace by Frederica Silva and a kill by Slater, 27-25.
SET 3 (25-23 KU)
- The Lions opened the third set with a 5-1 lead.
- A kill by Josephine Mulligan tied the set at 5-5.
- KU recorded two straight points to take an 8-6 lead after a block by Silva at the net.
- With the game tied again (this time at 8-8), the Seahawks scored back-to-back points for a 10-8 lead.
- The Seahawks took their biggest lead of the set, 17-12, following back-to-back aces by Silva.
- A kill by Slater (from Heide) gave Keiser a 20-15 lead.
- The Lions pulled within one, 20-19, after a block of an attack by Slater.
- With the Seahawks up 23-21, FMU's Souza had a service error to give KU a chance to take the set.
- The Lions cut the Keiser lead to 24-23, forcing Head Coach James Rogers to call a timeout.
- Out of the break, the Seahawks scored back-to-back points to win the third set, 25-23, and take a 2-1 lead.
SET 4 (25-15 KU)
- Again, the fourth set started like the previous three as the lead see-sawed back and forth.
- With the score tied at nine, the Seahawks outscored the Lions 10-1 to take a 19-10 lead capped off by a service ace by Silva.
- A kill by Wattles gave Keiser a 20-13 lead.
- Two more points by the Seahawks gave KU a 22-13 lead.
- KU made it a 10-point game following an attack error by the Lions.
- Up 24-15, the Seahawks won the set and the match following an attack error by FMU's Souza.

- Hannah Heide logged 47 assists, good for her eighth match of the year with 40+ assists.
- With 47 assists, Heide has now registered 823 assists this season, leading both the Sun Conference and the NAIA.
- Heide has now tallied 3,590 career assists - 386 shy of becoming the school's all-time leader (Brooklyn VandeHei - 3,975).
- Heide also recorded 12 digs for her 10th double-double of the season.
- Brooklynn Slater added 25 kills to extend her NAIA lead in points and kills (457.5/400).
- Slater's 400 kills are the fifth-most in a season at Keiser all-time.
- Sydney Wattles recorded 14 kills, marking the fourth match this season of 10-or-more kills.
- Erika Magin chipped in 14 digs to increase her career total to 1,928 - school's all-time leader.
- Frederica Silva notched a career-best five service aces for the Seahawks on Wednesday.
- KU hit .350 in the second set and .407 in set number four.
- The 55 kills by the Seahawks versus the Lions were the third-most this season and the highest total among all four-set matches.
- With the win, the Seahawks improve to 35-7 all-time versus the Lions.
- KU now holds a 15-3 record all-time versus the Lions in Miami Gardens.
- Keiser also leads the series versus FMU in conference play, 29-5.
- The win moves Keiser to 19-6 overall this season and 3-1 in Sun Conference action.
- The win was KU's second straight road victory.
