No. 5 Keiser opened their Sun Conference play with a convincing win over Florida Memorial on Wednesday afternoon in West Palm Beach, Fla. Four different goal scorers were used in the game, as
Emilia Nilsson,
Mifumi Sasanuma,
Oline Sundgot, and
Emily Payne all found the back of the net. The scoreless streak for the Seahawks over the Lions increased to 15 straight games with the result.

- It was a slow start to the home opener as Florida Memorial was quick to drop its defenders and deny the Seahawks a chance.
- Julia Forslund generated the first chance for Keiser, but it was parried away by the goalkeeper in the 17th minute.
- In the 26th minute, Seira Uko collected an errant pass, finding Lauren Riley, who played it on to Emilia Nilsson's right foot that guided it into the right corner of the net.
- Three minutes later, Uko took a chance for herself, but the ball bounced off the crossbar and out of play.
- In the 38th minute, Angelina Coelho weaved between three players before delivering a ball to the back post, where Mifumi Sasanuma headed home the goal to make it 2-0.
- With just over four minutes left in the half, Nynka Rucker fired a shot that bounced down off the crossbar, but Oline Sundgot was there to clean it up with a header to give the Seahawks a 3-0 advantage.
- The second half started with a bang as Emily Payne fired a deep shot that bounced over the keeper for a goal and a 4-0 lead.
- Five minutes later, Demi vanStappershoef played Coelho down the right wing before she crossed the ball to Sundgot, who headed home her second goal.
- Aniya Small would get a chance in the 62nd minute, but her shot would go wide and away from trouble.
- The Seahawks would continue to press the back line of the Lions defense but would settle for a 5-0 win.
- Keiser improves to 1-0 in Sun Conference play and 3-1-1 on the year.
- Another shutout for the Seahawks adds to the season total of three and makes it 15 straight over Florida Memorial.
- Two more players added their names to the scorers sheet as Payne and Sundgot each scored their first goals of the season.
- Sasanuma and Nilsson also added to their season totals with two each on the year.
- Four players made their debuts on Wednesday as Anisah Ortiz-Peck, Valeria Schiavo, and Gabby Schlabach all made an appearance, with Maude Rouanet getting the start in net.
- The aforementioned Rouanet earned her second win as a member of the Seahawks.
- Campos and vanStappershoef each recorded their first respective assists of the season.
- With her assist, Rucker is now tied for the team lead with three assists on the year.
