The No. 9-ranked Keiser men's soccer team (1-1-0) suffered its first loss of the season, dropping a 1-0 decision to Life (Ga.) (2-0-0) on Saturday afternoon from The Jungle in Mobile, Alabama.
 
With the loss, the Seahawks ended the Mobile Tournament with a 1-1 record.


.How it Happened
  • In the first meeting all-time between the two sides, the Running Eagles earned the result, scoring the game's only goal on a penalty kick in the 28th minute.
  • The Running Eagles' Lars Van Der Steen buried the the lone goal of the game, converting the PK attempt.
  • The Seahawks created three scoring chances in the first half but could not find the back of the net.
  • Keiser entered halftime with a one-goal deficit. 
  • The Seahawks pushed for the equalizer in the second half but only mustered one shot on net.
  • Goalkeeper Santiago Nebot Oliver was saddled with his first loss of the season, allowing one goal while registering five saves versus the Running Eagles.
  • With the loss, the Seahawks ended the Mobile Tournament with a 1-1 record.

  • The Seahawks dropped to 1-1 on the young year.
