The Keiser softball team was defeated today in a road doubleheader at Coastal Georgia on Friday. The Seahawks played well defensively and recorded hits, but were shut out in both games.

Pitchers of Record: W: Dickerson (18-5) L: Merriman (3-5)
- Kelsie Merriman got the start and was on the hook for the loss.
- Merriman pitched six full innings and struck out two batters. (104 pitches)

The Seahawks hung around with the Mariners, but gave way to a scoring flurry in the sixth inning that put the game out of reach. The Seahawks loaded the bases on two different occasions, but were unable to get any runs across.

Keiser played a tough defensive game and had a chance to tie the game, late, but fell just short.

- The Mariners added to their lead when a run crossed the plate due to a KU error.

- Keiser got the tying run on base when Rylee Miller singled, but the final out was recorded on a strikeout as CCGA took the series.
