Softball Defeated in Doubleheader at Coastal Georgia

The Keiser softball team was defeated today in a road doubleheader at Coastal Georgia on Friday. The Seahawks played well defensively and recorded hits, but were shut out in both games.

Keiser Seahawks 0, No. 21 Coastal Georgia Mariners 6
Pitchers of Record: W: Dickerson (18-5) L: Merriman (3-5)

Seahawk Hurlers
  • Kelsie Merriman got the start and was on the hook for the loss.
  • Merriman pitched six full innings and struck out two batters. (104 pitches) 
Seahawk Batters How it Happened
The Seahawks hung around with the Mariners, but gave way to a scoring flurry in the sixth inning that put the game out of reach. The Seahawks loaded the bases on two different occasions, but were unable to get any runs across.
