Coach's Corner

"First and foremost, happy to get a good road win today." said Head Coach, Daniel Finn, "It's never easy to travel across the state and play a quality opponent on the same day. Even more so when the other team has a good home-court advantage and with it being their senior day a pretty good crowd. We definitely had to dig in to get this one today after giving up the doubles point early. Tampa came out a lot more enthusiastic and just wanted the points more than we did. Fortunately, with enough experience in the depth of our lineup, we were able to pull through. Looking back, the girls have played one of the toughest schedules that I believe we have ever put together and have already accomplished a lot. One of the main reasons they have had a successful season so far has been due to having a short-term memory and focusing on the next match and they will need to do that again after this one. After today we saw a few things that we still need to improve on going into the conference tournament next week and will spend the rest of the week making those adjustments and preparing for a tough tournament postseason ahead."

Up Next
