No. 1 Women's Lacrosse Welcomes Warner for Senior Day on Saturday

After a week off, No. 1 women's lacrosse will return to the field on Saturday to honor their six seniors against the Warner Royals on the home turf in West Palm Beach, Fla. The opening draw control is set for 1:00 p.m.

  • Before the game, Head Coach Lauren Chizmar will honor the six seniors (Leanza Gibaud, Rebecca Gibson, Talia Myers, Chloe Foley, Madison Andrews, and Leah Siter) for all their contributions to the program.
  • Keiser heads into Saturday's game with an 11-0 record after defeating Webber International last Saturday, 12-10.
  • The Seahawks are off to a 3-0 start in conference play and are the lone remaining undefeated team in the Sun Conference.
  • Talia Myers received two awards for her efforts last week, earning Sun Conference Defensive and Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.
  • The team-leader in goals and draw controls, Myers has now collected six weekly awards this season from the two organizations.
  • Abbey Cannon continues to lead the team in points this season with 39 total including a team-best 19 assists on the year.
  • On the defensive side of the ball, Rebecca Gibson continues to show her dominance with a team-leading 33 caused turnovers and 31 groundballs.
  • Her caused turnovers rank fourth in the NAIA this season just one behind second place.
  • The goalie position started as a bit of a carousel at the beginning of the season but Cassidy Green has earned the nod as of late picking up her seventh win of the season over Webber International.
  • Warner is still looking for their first win of the season as the brand new program currently holds a record of 0-11.
  • The Royals are not lacking offensively as Hannah Glaser leads the team in goals this season with 36.
  • Kaylin Brown has played in all 11 games for the Royals making 127 saves this season.
