Keiser softball went 0-2 today on the first day of the Space Coast Spring Games. In eerily similar fashion to this past Tuesday's doubleheader versus Florida National, the Seahawks were defeated 11-3 in the first game, and went down by one run in the second game.
Keiser Seahawks 3, Goshen Maple Leafs 11
Pitchers of Record: W: Caten (3-2) L: Miller (0-2)
Records: Keiser (2-5) Goshen (7-4)
- Maggie Miller started the game and was on the hook for the loss, and struck out one batter over 2.1 innings of work. (18 pitches)
- Kelsie Merriman and Tes DeBono finished the game from the circle. (54 combined pitches)

Keiser was unable to find a rhythm in the circle, and gave up a flurry of runs in the 4th inning.
Keiser 0, Goshen 1
- Goshen struck first with an RBI single.
Keiser 0, Goshen 3
- The Maple Leafs built their lead with an RBI triple, and a groundout that brought home a runner.
Keiser 0, Goshen 6
- Goshen continued their hot start with an RBI single and a 2 RBI double.
Keiser 0, Goshen 11
- The Maple Leafs began to pull away in the top of the fourth, and scored their seventh run of the day on a KU error.
- Goshen added four more runs from there with a single, two bases loaded walks, and a fielder's choice. to take an 11-0 lead.
Keiser 1, Goshen 11
- Keiser got its first run of the day when a Goshen error allowed Lizzy Small to cross home plate.

Keiser Seahawks 1, Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines 2
Pitchers of Record: W: Koch (1-1) L: Small (1-3)
Records: Keiser (2-6) Michigan Dearborn (6-4)
- Lizzy Small pitched six full innings and struck out two batters. (51 pitches)
- The Seahawks fought through a tough pitchers duel and came close to taking the win, but two unearned runs proved costly and Keiser left two runners stranded on base in the seventh inning to fall to 2-6 on the year.
Keiser 0, MD 2
- The first run of the day came when the Wolverines scored on a KU error.
- Another Seahawk error brought a runner home and put Michigan-Dearborn up 2-0.
Keiser 1, MD 2
- Trailing by two runs in the final innings, the Seahawk bats suddenly sprang to life, first with a Tes DeBono single.
- Molly Reid took a base after being hit by a pitch, and Kaylie Araujo hit a single that scored pinch runner Molly Woerner.
- With two base runners on, Keiser struck out swinging and the game came to an end with the tying run stranded on second base.

Keiser will continue the Space Coast Spring Games tomorrow in neutral site contests against Cleary University College and Voorhees University.
