Facing their fifth NCAA Division II two top-5 team this season, No. 1 Keiser women's tennis collected their fifth shutout of the season with a 4-0 win over No. 4 West Alabama.
- Two points from the win when the rain stopped the match, No. 1 Apisah returned to the court and defeated D-II, No. 38 Haina Franco, 6-1, 6-4.
- No. 7 Schmucker was next done on court four with a convincing 6-4, 6-3 win over Vidnere.
- No. 14 Vanja Vidanovic clinched the match on court four with a 6-1, 1-6, 6-2 win over Emiri Takanishi.
- The Seahawks were up on courts two and three when the match was clinched and tied on court six in the third set.

"Good effort today against a strong West Alabama team," said Head Coach,
Daniel Finn, "Getting the doubles point today was really important and helped us control the tempo going into singles. The rain delay obviously didn't help and kind of slowed things down but in the end, I'm happy with the girls and how they found a way to win the big points when it really mattered. Today is definitely another quality win we can add to the belt and move forward into the season. The biggest thing now is for us to try to rest and recover as best as we can heading into two tough conference matches coming up this weekend."
The Seahawks will be back on the home courts on Friday and Saturday with back-to-back Sun Conference opponents in Coastal Georgia and No. 8 SCAD-Savannah
