With just one match needing more than an hour of play, No. 1 women's tennis showed why they deserved their rank, defeating Warner on the road, 7-0.

• All three courts finished nearly simultaneously with 6-0 sweeps.
• No. 3 Isabella Perez Flores and Florencia Araya, No. 1 Violet Apisah and Ksenija Vujacic, and Yvette Schmucker and Vanja Vidanovic all cruised through their doubles matches in dominating fashion and earned a rare 6-0 sweep across the board.

• No. 6 Vujacic was first done in singles with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Riley Cook.
• Fellow Aussie, No. 1 Apisah defeated Camila Matos shortly after 6-1, 6-0.
• Anna Hinka clinched the match on court two, winning 6-0, 6-2 over Alizee Piette.
• No. 7 Schmucker, No. 14 Vidanovic, and No. 19 Perez Flores all cruised through their matches that followed with none of them allowing more than two games to their opponent.

"Happy that we went out and took care of business today," said Head Coach, Daniel Finn, "Having a tough match ahead of us tomorrow, we knew it would be extremely important to get out to a strong start today so that we could be on and off the court as quickly as possible. Now we have some much-needed time to rest up for tomorrow."




The Seahawks will have a quick trip home before heading back to the area for a match with No. 6 Southeastern on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
