(RV) Keiser baseball played their first Sun Conference game of the season against the Warner Royals and fell short. The Seahawks had Anfernee Fernandez on the mound to start the game, Fernandez picked up his first loss of the season. Kenny Di Clemente went 3-for-5 and recorded four RBIs as he led the Seahawks in RBIs today. The last two games of the series will be played tomorrow, game one starting at noon. 
 
Notables.
  • The Seahawks are now 16-10 overall and 0-1 in the Sun Conference. 
  • Warner took the lead in the second inning when they put up a run on the board.
  • The Royals scored again in the top of the third and the Seahawks tied the game in the bottom of the inning.
  • Both teams scored in the fifth inning.
  • Warner took the lead again in the sixth inning but that didn't stop the Seahawks as they scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh. 

Seahawk Hurlers
  • Anfernee Fernandez started for the Seahawks as he pitched his first Sun Conference game this season.
  • In relief for Fernandez was Chuck Fishbaugh as he went 0.1 innings.
  • Jonathan Amonica went in to pitch in the sixth inning and went 2.2 innings.
  • Jordan Destefano closed the game for Keiser, Destefano threw an inning and recorded three strikeouts.
