The
John Pryor era at Keiser University began with two victories today as the Seahawks took both games at home versus Fort Lauderdale. Keiser walked off each game, with a game winning single in the first game, and a run-rule in the second.
Keiser Seahawks 2, Fort Lauderdale 1
Pitchers of Record: W: Small (1-0) L: Piper (1-2)
- Lizzy Small pitched a signature game, tossing four strikeouts while allowing no earned runs. (89 pitches)

Keiser overcame a stingy outing from Eagles pitcher Lilly Piper, as well as three Seahawk errors to defeat Fort Lauderdale on a dramatic walk-off single.
Keiser 0, Fort Lauderdale 1
- The Eagles took advantage of a Keiser throwing error to get a runner on base, and eventually took the lead with an RBI single.
Keiser 1, Fort Lauderdale 1
- Keiser tied the game by scoring on a passed ball. Macy Schaff scored the run, and originally got on base with a single in her first career at-bat.
Keiser 2, Fort Lauderdale 1
- With the game deadlocked at 1-1, the Seahawks took the plate with a chance to prevent the game from entering extra innings.
- Lacee Travens got things going with a hard hit ball to right field that forced an Eagles error.
- Macy Schaaf got on base with a single to second base.
- Tess McGann loaded the bases with a bunt single.
- Rylee Miller ended the game with a single that scored pinch runner Lana Hampson.
Keiser 9, Fort Lauderdale 1
Pitchers of Record: W: Merriman (1-0) L: Brooks (1-1)
- Kelsie Merriman pitched a shutout over four innings in her first appearance of the season.
- Kaylie Araujo made her first appearance of her Seahawk career in the final inning.
- The Seahawks made quick adjustments after game one, and got off to a hot start at the plate.

- Fort Lauderdale got on the board with a sac-fly to left field.

The Seahawks will take on NCAA DII foe Lynn University on February 14th for a doubleheader in Boca Raton, Fla.
