Coach's Corner
"Wow. Just wow. That was as intense as it can get," said Head Coach, Daniel Finn, "So proud of the girls for finding a way to get it done today. To win the inaugural indoor team national championship is something special. With this match having all the drama it did from start to finish, I'm proud of the girls found a way, regardless of the craziness going on around them. To win a national championship in that hostile environment says a lot about the ladies and how hard they are willing to compete and fight for one another. To have Elyse clinch it like she did having to battle through sickness and all just shows the best example of how hard these ladies fight for one another. Unbelievable tournament for these girls. They should be extremely proud of themselves and definitely enjoy this one for a day or two. It's a little weird because obviously, you're still in the middle of your season competing for a national championship today so we will move on and start preparing for our next matches but not tonight, tonight they are champions."

Up Next

Keiser will have a short break before returning to their relentless schedule and a match against Division II, No. 6 Lynn on Thursday, February 9.
