The No. 2 Keiser women's tennis team opened their ITA NAIA Team Indoor Championship with a commanding win over No. 11 Lindsey Wilson on Friday, 4-0.
- Keiser was rolling going into singles as No. 1 Apisah worked a 6-1, 6-0 win on court two.
- No. 2 Schmucker was next done on court four with a 6-1, 6-2 finish to put Keiser ahead 3-0.
- Less than 30 seconds later, No. 11 Perez Flores finished the match with a 6-2, 6-1 win on court six.
- Lavender and Vindanovic were both early in the second set up 1-0 when the match finished.

"Happy to advance even after what I thought was not the best start," said Head Coach,
Daniel Finn, "Overall, I thought we started slow, especially in doubles. But with any first match of a tournament, it can be tough getting the match rhythm down and obviously the girls got it done when they needed to by taking the doubles point. I thought we handled singles much better. We were much more focused, at least in some positions, and took care of what needed to be taken care of to make sure we got off the court in a decent time today. We have a very good opponent tomorrow in LSU-Alexandria, so coming out focused on executing early on will be important for us."

It will be a rematch of the 2022 NAIA Semifinal as Keiser will face No. 3 LSU-Alexandria on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. CT at the Overland Park Racquet Club in Overland Park, Kansas.
