Core'von Lott each put up 22 points in the tight loss to the regular season champion Southeastern Fire. SEU's Riley Minix battled all night with Tucker as the counterparts scored 50 of the 134 total points and brought down 32Â of the 72Â total rebounds.

A dunk by Riley Minix with 2:04 left in the game put Southeastern ahead by four and just out of reach for the rest of the contest.

- Keiser started the game on a 7-2 run before a three-pointer from Sean Shore cut the lead down to two.
- The Seahawks were unfazed, breaking out a 13-2 run over the next four minutes to take the 20-7 lead with 12:44 left in the first.
- Riley Minix began to go to work for the Fire leading them on an 8-4 run to cut into the lead.
- Brandon Farmer would have the answer for KU with a three-pointer that shut down the SEU run and gave Keiser a 29-17 lead with just under 10 to play.
- This time it was Southeastern who took the offensive, using a 10-0 run to cut the Keiser lead down to just two.
- Both sides would trade baskets and a pair of free throws before Jalan Mull tied the game at 35-35 with 29 seconds left.
- Farmer would go to the line late and put Keiser ahead 36-35 going into the half.
Southeastern 68, Keiser 66
- Justin Tucker opened the scoring in the second half with a tip-in that gave the big man his 15th point and eighth rebound of the night.
- A three-pointer from Minix would tie the game at 38-38 before the Seahawks jumped out to a 12-6 run and a 50-41 lead with 13:43 remaining.
- Southeastern would counter with a 10-4 run of their own as Minix collected his 21st point of the night.
- Core'von Lott's 20th point would stop the run by the Fire but SEU would go on another 7-0 run to take a 58-56 lead with 7:15 on the clock.
- A Farmer three would take the lead back for Keiser as the two sides began trading the lead.
- Back-to-back baskets from the Fire gave them a 66-62 lead with 2:54 remaining in the game.
- DaQuan Williams got his first bucket of the night on the following possession before a dunk from Minix put the SEU lead back to four.
- A Brandon Younger layup pulled the Seahawks within two with 24 seconds on the clock.
- Both teams would not be able to take advantage of trips to the free-throw line as Southeastern would escape with the 68-66 win.
