The Keiser Seahawks opened the 2023 season with a 20-0 shutout victory over Sun Conference foe, Florida Memorial on Wednesday night. The Seahawks were led by quarterback
Jazmin Rhoden, who tossed three touchdown passes in the conference victory.
The win marked the fifth straight over the Lions as the Seahawks improve to 2-0 all-time versus FMU in Miami Gardens. With the 20-0 win, Keiser has now outscored FMU, 68-7, in the last three games.

- One play later, Rhoden hit Sophia Caprio deep down the sideline for a 24-yard touchdown pass with 6:41 left to play.
- The extra point was no good, 20-0.
- Keeping FMU off the scoreboard, KU forced mercy rule at the two-minute warning to end the game.
Keiser will travel to Babson Park, Florida, to take on the Webber International Warriors on Thursday, February 23. Game time is set for 4:00 PM.
