No. 3 Football Takes on No. 7 Bethel (Tenn.) in the NAIA FCS Quarterfinals Saturday

The No. 3-ranked Keiser Seahawks host the No. 7-ranked Bethel (Tenn.) Wildcats in the NAIA FCS Quarterfinals on Saturday, December 2. Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM.

The game will be broadcast on the Keiser Sports Network and the SUN Digital Network.

Fans can also follow the game on ESPN West Palm 106.3 FM. Cyrus Wittig (play-by-play) will be on the call beginning at 12:30 PM.

  • Saturday will mark the third meeting all time between Keiser and Bethel (Tenn.).
  • The Seahawks enter the weekend with a 1-1 record all-time versus the Bobcats.

  • Keiser is 9-2 on the year after defeating the No. 13-ranked St. Thomas Bobcats, 45-21, in the NAIA FCS Second Round on Saturday, November 25.
  • Setting the school record for rushing yards in a game, the Seahawks posted 383 yards on the ground versus the Bobcats.
  • Keiser was led by Jaden Meizinger, who posted a career-high 245 yards rushing on 27 carries and two touchdowns. For his performance, Meizinger was named the Second Round Outstanding Offensive Player of the Game.
  • Defensively, linebacker Tivon Sutton led all Seahawks with nine total tackles (six solo) with 3.0 tackles for loss and one sack. He also forced and recovered a fumble in the game as he was named the Second Round Outstanding Defensive Player of the Game.
  • In all, the Keiser defense produced 13.0 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks while recovering one fumble and picking off two passes.
  • The Seahawks enter this Saturday's contest with a 52-15 record all-time.
  • The Seahawks enter Saturday with a 26-4 record all-time in games played at the Keiser Multi-Purpose Field.
  • Keiser comes into the weekend with a 1-1 record all-time during the month of December.
