The No. 13-ranked Keiser men's soccer team took down the Fire of Southeastern in a double overtime 3-2 win this afternoon in The Sun Conference semi-finals. The Seahawks were lead by freshman
Fami Konate with his two goals including the game-winner in overtime.

- The first minute of play got off to a hot start when freshman Mikael Baisotti fired a shot less than one minute into the match with Fire goalkeeper Henrique Cavalini making the save.
- Following two fouls called on Southeastern, Keiser went on to have three opportunities for a goal with shots coming off the boot of Fami Konate, Jack Casey, and Mikael Baisotti for Cavalini to record the saves.
- In the 6th minute, the first yellow card of fifteen that were given out in today's match was handed to forward Aldair Chavez.
- A corner kick from Mikael Baisotti gave the Seahawks a good chance, but the game remained scoreless.
- Moments later in the 27th minute, Santiago Duque sent a through ball to Fami Konate who scored to give the Seahawks a 1-0 lead.
- After a hydration break, Finn Syson fired a shot at the Fire net which was again saved by Cavalini.
- In the 33rd minute, three yellow cards were given out, one to the Seahawks Ethan Barimo and the other two were issued to the Fire.
- Shortly after in the 38th minute, the Fire would tie the game when Kory Nekoloff kicked the ball just past goalkeeper Santiago Nebot to tie the game.
- The Seahawks and Fire entered halftime at 1-1.
- The Fire entered the second half and took advantage of a misplayed free kick from the Seahawks and scoring in the 48th minute to take the 2-1 lead.
- The teams would battle back and forth with no goals for the next forty-one minutes.
- As the Seahawks approached the 90th minute, senior Kael Richards headed a corner kick from Belmin Ramdedovic to tie the game up and lead the Seahawks into overtime.
- The Seahawks fired three shots in the first period of overtime, but the Fire defense would hold on tight.
- The game remained tied until the 105th minute when Fami Konate scored his second goal of the day and the eventual game-winner for the Seahawks.
- Only three shots were recorded in the last five minutes of play and the Seahawks would take the victory to advance to the finals of the tournament.
- Keiser's record moves up to 12-3-4 with their sixth straight win.
- For the fourth consecutive year, the Seahawks will advance to the championship game marking their 10th appearance.
- Keiser has a 4-6 record in the championship game.
- Fami Konate doubled his season total in goals scoring twice including the game-winner.
- Kael Richards scored his first goal of the season in the nick of time with 14 seconds on the clock to keep the Seahawks alive.
- Belmin Ramdedovic notched his second assist of the season on the Richards goal.
- Santiago Nebot had a season-high of eight saves, sophomore is just four saves shy of breaking the school record for saves in a single-season.
- A total of 15 yellow cards were given out in today's match, 10 of which were given to Keiser recorded as a season high.
- The Seahawks out-shot Southeastern 28-19.

The Seahawks will play the winner of No. 3 St. Thomas and Florida Memorial being played tonight at 6:00pm. The championship will be played at the higher seed on Friday, November 10th.
