No. 17 Keiser women's soccer faced off with No. 15 College of Idaho for a third year in a row with this year's postseason matchup taking place in Caldwell, Idaho. In the 53rd minute, Georgia Little fired a corner kick into the box where the Seahawks would get a shot off before the ball fell to the foot of Olivia Pousette who pushed it into the net for the game's only goal.

The Seahawks will now head to Foley, Alabama where they will face non-conference rival No. 1 William Carey in the Round of 16 on November 27.

How it Happened
  • Keiser opened the game with a high press as Julia Forslund forced an early save out of the Yotes keeper.
  • In the 17th minute, the Seahawks drew a foul just outside of the box, but Georgia Little's attempt would sail just over the crossbar.
  • The Seahawks were on the attack again in the 35th minute, but Oline Sundgot's chance would be just wide.
  • The College of Idaho had their best chance of the first half in the 38th minute with a long shot but Zara Board would get a hand on it and send it over the bar.
  • Seira Uko fired a shot in the 53rd minute that was saved by McFadden but out for a corner.
  • On the ensuing corner, Keiser would get three shot attempts before Olivia Pousette found the loose ball in the box and fired it into the net to put Keiser ahead 1-0.
  • The Yotes had a chance in the 77th minute, but the shot from Eden Makaafi would sail high.
  • The College of Idaho would get the final chances of the game from corner kicks, but to no avail as the Seahawks would advance with the 1-0 win.

Game Notes
  • Keiser improves to 13-7-2 with the win and 3-0 against The College of Idaho.
  • The Seahawks move to 29-12-2 in NAIA postseason play and remain unbeaten in the Second Round with a 5-0-0 record.
  • KU won their fourth game of the season against a ranked opponent and improved to 12-10-5 on the road all time.
  • Pousette scored her sixth goal of the season to move into a four-way tie for second on the team.
  • Sundgot's assist is the second of the year and the ninth of her Keiser career.
  • In net, Board only saw two shots, recording both saves along with multiple grabs on crosses.
  • Keiser has now outshot 18 of their opponents with a 15-8 shot count on the day.

The Seahawks will travel back to the final site of the NAIA National Championship in Foley, Alabama where they will face No. 1 William Carey on November 27.
